TNPSC Group 4 application dates 2026

Step 1: One Time Registration (OTR)

One Time Registration comes first. It is not an application for any post – it is your profile on the TNPSC portal, and you then apply separately for each exam.

• Fee: ₹150 (valid for 5 years)
• You need: A working e-mail ID and mobile number, Aadhaar linking, your SSLC register number, certificate number, month and year of passing, medium and board, and your photo and signature files.

Step 2: How to apply online for TNPSC Group 4

1. Log in on the official portal with your OTR user ID and password.
2. Click APPLY against the Combined Civil Services Examination – IV (Group IV Services) notification.
3. Check the OTR details shown. Use OTR Edit to fix any mistake – changes apply only to applications you submit afterwards.
4. Post options: "All the Posts", or "Posts other than Forest Guard with Driving Licence / Forest Watcher" if you do not want the two forest posts.
5. Exam centres: Choose two exam centres (persons with benchmark disability choose one). You are allotted a venue in one of them, or in a nearby centre if they are full. Requests to change the exam centre are not permitted – you write the exam at the venue on your hall ticket.
6. Upload a photo taken on or after 06.10.2026, with your name and date of photography printed at the bottom, and your signature. Make them in the official format with our free photo compressor and signature compressor.
7. Answer the fee concession question (Yes or No) carefully – it cannot be changed after you submit. See the concessions below.
8. Preview your application, then submit it.
9. Pay the exam fee online, unless you claimed a concession, and note down the Application Number shown after a successful payment.

Can I edit my application?

You can edit your application until the last date, then only during the 3-day correction window; no changes are allowed after that. The fee concession Yes/No choice cannot be changed once you submit. The correction window is 09.11.2026, 12:01 AM – 11.11.2026, 11:59 PM. These dates are unchanged: Addendum No. 11B/2026 extended only the last date and keeps all other details of the notification, except the age amendment of 04.11.2026.
